1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the mobile app Scentary ("the App"), provided by Leon Mons under the Fruhji brand, Ziegeleistraße 1, 49086 Osnabrück, Germany. By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. License
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. Where the App is distributed through the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (standard EULA) applies in addition to these Terms; where these Terms grant you more rights, these Terms prevail.
3. Free use and Scentary Pro
The core features of the App are free: a shelf of up to 15 fragrances, three shelf scans per day, one morning pick per day, the diary, ratings, notes, the wishlist and the optional friends profile. Scentary Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription (monthly or annual) that removes the shelf limit, raises the scan limit to 30 per day, allows new picks on demand and unlocks blind-buy risk, dupes, wardrobe gaps and monthly cards. Daily limits also apply to Pro to keep the service available for everyone; they are shown in the App when reached.
- Free trial: If a free trial is offered, its length is shown in the App before you subscribe. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
- Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of a free trial). The price is always shown in the App before you confirm.
- Auto-renewal: The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Managing & cancelling: You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective store policies.
4. Your Content
Your collection, diary, ratings, notes, wishlist and bottle photos belong to you. They are stored on your device and are transmitted only to the extent described in the Privacy Policy. We claim no ownership of, and no rights to, your content. You are responsible for keeping your device secure.
5. Recognition and Suggestions Are Estimates
Bottle recognition, catalogue entries created by the model, the morning pick, blind-buy risk, dupes and wardrobe gaps are generated by a language model. They may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date: a bottle can be misidentified, a note pyramid can be wrong, and a "dupe" may smell nothing like the original to you. They are offered as orientation for your own judgement and are not purchase advice, a guarantee of authenticity or a statement about a product's safety or ingredients. Check the product yourself before you buy or wear it, and consult the manufacturer's information for allergens and ingredients.
6. Shop Links
The "Where to buy" button opens a retailer's search page in your browser. Scentary sells nothing; any purchase is a contract between you and the retailer under the retailer's terms. Some links are affiliate links through which Fruhji may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. We do not select, endorse or guarantee retailers, prices or availability.
7. Fragrance Names and Trademarks
Fragrance and brand names in the App are used to identify products. All trademarks belong to their respective owners. Scentary is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any fragrance house or retailer.
8. Friends Profile
If you create a profile, choose a handle and display name that do not impersonate another person or infringe anyone's rights and that are not offensive. Share your invite code only with people you want to see your shelf and diary. We may remove profiles that violate these Terms. You can ask us to delete your profile at any time.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the App or its services — including attempting to disrupt or overload the service, circumvent rate limits or subscription gating, scrape the catalogue, reverse engineer the App except where permitted by law, or use the recognition and suggestion service for purposes unrelated to the App.
10. Availability and Changes
We may improve, change or discontinue features of the App (including the recognition service, the catalogue and the friends profile) at any time. Recognition, suggestions, weather and the friends list depend on third-party providers and an internet connection and may be temporarily unavailable. Your collection and diary work offline and remain on your device.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that recognition or suggestions will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are liable without limitation only for damages caused by intent or gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Mandatory statutory liability (including under product liability law) remains unaffected. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example when features change. The current version is always available at this address, and the date below shows when it was last revised. If you continue using the App after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country in which you live remain unaffected.

Nutzung: Es gilt eine persönliche, nicht übertragbare Lizenz; im App Store zusätzlich die Standard-EULA von Apple. Kostenlos sind ein Regal mit bis zu 15 Düften, drei Scans am Tag, ein Morgenvorschlag am Tag, Tagebuch, Bewertungen, Notizen, Wunschliste und das Freundesprofil. Scentary Pro ist ein Abo (monatlich oder jährlich) ohne Regalgrenze, mit 30 Scans am Tag, neuen Vorschlägen auf Knopfdruck, Blind-Buy-Risiko, Dupes, Garderobenlücken und Monatskarten; auch Pro hat Tagesgrenzen. Abos verlängern sich automatisch, sofern sie nicht mindestens 24 Stunden vor Ablauf gekündigt werden; Preis und eine etwaige Testphase stehen vor dem Kauf in der App. Kündigung und Erstattung laufen über Apple bzw. Google.
Einschätzungen: Erkennung, Katalogeinträge, Vorschlag, Blind-Buy-Risiko, Dupes und Garderobenlücken stammen von einem Sprachmodell und können falsch sein. Sie sind keine Kaufberatung, keine Echtheitsgarantie und keine Aussage zu Inhaltsstoffen oder Verträglichkeit. „Wo kaufen“ öffnet nur die Suche eines Händlers, teils als Partnerlink mit Provision; der Kauf ist ein Vertrag mit dem Händler. Marken gehören ihren Inhabern; Scentary ist mit keinem Dufthaus verbunden.
